How grateful I am to read more text again! It is so much better. But indeed, all your pictures are as wonderful as your recipes. Thanks for sharing. Thanks for sitting in front of fresh veggies and looking kind of really satisfied. I can feel it too. 🙏
your story today brought me right back to your blog years ago when you were living in France and your children were little.. still the same quality of writing, pictures and recipes!
I’d love to try the beets and meatballs. Dill is my favorite - so summery! I’m so glad you’re writing again as I found your blog only after you had discontinued it.
Mmm, yum! Everything looks delicious as always! In the mood for a sandwich today, and then your post came in like a sign from the universe! 😂 Thank you for the endless inspiration!
What a pleasure to go back to reading your stories surrounding your market adventures (or other escapades) and then, the most delicious recipes combined with beautiful photos! Your recipes are always delicious too! (I’ve tried quite a few things from your cookbooks and blog). So, thank you, for sharing and for allowing us to escape for a few minutes from our own realities! ps. definitely going to try the meatball and beetroot sandwiches recipe!
Love that you have a new space to write Mimi and looking forward to more of your posts here! Love the sound of that sandwich! Kisses from Scotland! X
Thanks Julie! Feeling very cozy writing here and loving this new space. Big hugs to all! Xx
So glad to be reading your posts Mimi. It takes me back to the blogging days. And how much your girls have grown!
That meatball and beetroot sandwich is calling my name. 🧡
Thank you ❤️

Your pasta sounds divine! Great to see you on Substack. Xx
Thanks! Happy to be here xx
What a lovely post. Will make the frittata and pasta soon, but even your elegant words and photos won’t persuade me to eat beets
Ahaha! I’ll try harder. Sending love xx
So many gorgeous things in this! Those tomatoes are perfection 🍅 as is your vintage dress!
So happy you like the post 💛
Love reading your posts, even more personal and warm here🍇🍒 🥰
When you serve a beautiful multi course lunch like this do you then serve a full dinner?
Yes we do, but on a lighter side. We had lots of salad (Louise is a great salad chef) and braciole alla napoletana (meat rolls in ragu sauce). Xx
